Front-End Developer, TriBeCa  

We are looking for a solid front-end developer who will work on all of Jango.com's consumer facing content areas. Day-to-day the person will interact with business people as well as a small team of experienced developers.

Our team consists of a group of highly motivated people set on making the online music experience as addictive and social as possible. Did we mention we want to have a good time?

Experience with the following tools/frameworks is required:
- HTML/CSS design & coding
- AJAX & Javascript
- JavaScript 1.0 and above

Experience with the following is a plus:
- Ruby-on-Rails
- MySQL
- Flash / Action Script

Customer Service Intern, TriBeCa  

Are you a student in the NYC area? Do you love spending time on Jango? We're looking for interns to help out primarily in our customer service department (The Jango Jugglers), with some work also falling in the marketing and publicity areas.

Requirements:
First and foremost, a passion for music and loads of experience with the site. Ideally you're able to commit to 10+ hours per week (one full day or two half-days). You should be reliable, well-spoken, and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express. In addition to extensive experience with Jango, you should also be familiar with other social networking sites including Myspace and Facebook. A broad knowledge of music is also very helpful.
