Coming out of Brooklyn, NY, Khalil Coerleone started rhyming at the tender age of 10 years old. He began to battle neighborhood emcees on street corners and in school hallways in order to sharpen his lyrical skill. As a teenager Khalil made beats with a drum machine, a keyboard and a four track recorder and would rhyme over them with his rap team called “Lacostranostra” . In 2008 Khalil released his first distributed mixtape which sold over 700 copies without major promotion. Now back in the studio Khalil is set to drop his summer album ( Wine & Spirits ) in May 2012 which features club bangers such as “ No Problems” , Look At The Money” and Incredible which features up and coming Brooklyn artist, Cyph.
