Walk In The Valley Of The Lord

As I walk along the seashores of my heart,

My thoughts flow to my lord,

& my days & nights don't seem so empty anymore,

For my lord is walking alongside me,

& with his guidance, I'm no longer afraid of tommorrow,

Yet welcome it with open arms.

As I walk along the memories of my mind,

My thoughts go to true friends in my life,

Though they have been rare, The one's I have,

Are all god given to my soul.

As I walk along the warmth of my heart,

I thank the lord for loving me,

& for giving me, a giving heart !!

LORD, LEAD ME INTO YOUR WINGS:

Lord, I thought I knew what loneliness meant,

I felt my life couldn't get any darker than it is,

But,then I awoke to the crashing of all my dreams,

& now all I have is heartache & emptiness inside!

I see the bars that surround me & close me in,

I see the desolation of what my life could have been!

I see the emptyniess of my existence before me,

& yet I hold out my hand, & prayer for you to let me into your wings,

& shelter me from the darkness that I face each moment of my day!

I ask only that you remain my friend,

As I come to face my distant light!

I know that my existence means little to another,

yet it means everything to me, for I wish to outlive this hell I live,

& someday again to see the sun shine before me!

I ask nothing from you my lord, but to let me into your wings,

& surround me with your guidance to help me survive this pain

that I feel deep within.

As I close this prayer of mine, I make another silent prayer,

May whatever life has instore for me,

may I come to see the sun shine before me,

& allow me to be re-united with my family & friends that I love so

much!!

photography & listening to music I love the ocean, the sea shells, the wonderful caress of the sea swept wind that blows over the person as they walk along the seashores. I love to write poetry, & with the poetry comes the heart of a romantic, for one should always believe that the true freedom within life is when one falls deep within love, within life. I am not into films, but I do like a good story, especially where one has a deep love and fulfills dreams within that love.
