After over two decades in the music business, Tonny Tun Tun continues to push the limits of Tropical music. Beginning as a classically trained trumpet player, Tun Tun has created a signature merengue sound that continues to set him apart among his peers, maintaining a place for him in the industry as an artist whose music transcends generations. The clear tone of his warm tenor vocals paired with his crisp arrangements of syncopated horns, mark the unmistakable flow of a Tonny Tun Tun record.

While his past hits, such as Sabado en la Noche, Hoy Hago el Amore and Cuando la Brisa Llega, and his work with Grupo Mania and Elvis Crespo, as a producer, arranger and musician, all still have their place in the current musical climate, Tun Tun is back to give his loyal fans more of what the love and to touch new listeners with his unmatched ability to entertain all ages and cultural backgrounds. Influenced, not only by his own genre, but musical styles from Jazz, Soul and Rock music to niche genres like Kizomba, his music not only reflects his versatility, but the completeness of his talent.

Over his career, Tonny has not only commanded the airwaves, but also hundreds of thousands of fans over a long career full of live performances. From more intimate venues, to packed arenas, his presence is electric. Performing for over 150,000 people at the 2001 Son Latino Festival in Spain, sharing the stage with Paulina Rubio and Jose Feliciano, and the year prior, as a featured artist in Tito Puente’s final concert in 2000, not to mention the countless festivals, headlining shows and private events, Tun Tun moves a crowd like no other.

After teaming up, in 2006, with Daddy Yankee, Wisin and Yandel, Baby Ranks and Hector “El Father,” for the #1 Singles on the Latin Billboards Noche Entierro and Mayor Que Yo, Tonny Tun Tun made his presence known in the reggaeton world, taking him to the Latin Grammy Stage in Madison Square Garden that year. His smooth style effortlessly drove the urban swagger in both tracks, leaving his stamp on this genre and expanding on his already diverse fan base.

Warming up the market with two hot remakes of classic merengue songs, Noche de Copas and Se Nos Rompio el Amor, he is ready to reintroduce his revolutionary Tun Tun style with some original music. After burning up the studio, Tonny Tun Tun has his pockets full of hits satisfy all musical cravings. Stay tuned, because Tun Tun is truly unpredictable.
